John Black launched his media career in London with Optimedia before moving to Carat to work on EMI Records, The British Government and General Motors Accounts, bridging the gap between traditional broadcast media and digital. His time at Carat included internal transfers to their New York and Dublin offices. Making the move to America in 2012, his residency at Robertson+Partners was proceeded by R&R Partners, where he worked one the agency’s biggest accounts, such as MGM Resorts International.

John’s expertise includes strategic media planning and buying across all media and in multiple markets, negotiating added value, research and analysis. His biggest strength is Direct Response media, linking the digital media world with the traditional media world, identifying ROI and driving the right traffic to the clients point of sale.

When not finding new traffic sources or negotiating the best media rates, John helps his wife corral their three young children. He also helps grow the fan base of his English Premier League team West Ham United in the US and rarely misses a World Title Fight or a Grade One horse race.
